This is the first time ive used the 3m stuff just curious if anyone has had this issue before.

I just painted my homemade gap guards aluminum with the 3m professional grade rubberized undercoating. I painted them yesterday in my basement 60 65 degrees and 14 hours later they re still tacky to the touch. This coating also offers sound deadening properties. This heavy duty aerosol rubberized undercoating produces a textured finish which resists chipping abrasion exterior rusting and weathering.

The can just says allow 1 hour to dry. Provides one coat build up with no dripping running or sagging. 3m rubberized undercoating helps protect the undercarriage of cars trucks vans and recreational vehicles from both corrosion and abrasion. The undercoating is excellent for automotive undercarriages and for other uses including protection for posts tree wounds roofs and gutters.
