Bmw Soft Close Doors Not Working

Issue with drivers side soft close door.

Bmw soft close doors not working.

It worked properly for 2 days now the door wont stay closed again. Not sure what it could be. Short clip showing the soft close doors in action. In this situation it sits there and the motor sounds as if it is trying to close but nothing happens it just grinds for about 10 seconds then stops trying with the door still sitting on the latch but not closed.

The soft touch close door on my bmw 750li is not working. All other doors work properly. I have my front passenger door not really performing properly. It has to actually be closed like a normal door for the feature to make the noise like it is working.

He says he reset some codes and then told me to spray it with wd40. The door will not close. Any idea how to reset these codes that he stated he did earlier to get. Ok i have searched and maybe i am just bad at it but has anyone had problems with their soft close feature.

Working principle rectifier duration. This happened 2 days ago and i had to drive to a bmw mechanic holding the door driving down the highway. Notice the gentle push of the driver advantages bmw s soft close was initially installed on the 2002 7 series which seems just about right given.
