Consider a water softener if you have well water. Overuse of chlorine bleach can also cause white clothes to yellow when hung in the sun to dry because the sun adds another layer of bleaching due to ultra violet rays. Luckily you can easily bleach them to restore their original brightness and remove any discoloration. Remove the paste with plenty of water.

I use a 1 2 c. Wash clothing and let it dry in a normal way. White clothes can eventually lose their brightness and may even start to turn yellow over time. Apply this paste to the yellow spot and let stand.

White is a fabric color and may be created by adding a blue wash to the fabric dye to mask the presence of yellow.
